Synexus celebrates opening of new clinical research building in Pretoria

UK based Synexus, the world’s largest multi-national company dedicated to the recruitment of patient volunteers and hands-on conduct of  clinical trials on behalf of pharmaceutical, biotech and CRO clients, celebrated another phase of its South African expansion and growth programme today.

At the formal opening of the new Synexus building in Val de Grace, Pretoria, Dr Christophe Berthoux, CEO of Synexus declared the building open together with Dr Sanet Aspinall, Managing Director of Synexus South Africa and  Mr John Wade Smith, Regional Head of Science and Innovation from the British High Commission in South Africa. They were joined by pharmaceutical and CRO business representatives to celebrate this important occasion and to reiterate the company’s long term plans to continue developing business in this region where pharmaceutical and biotech companies are continuing to demand an increased number of clinical trials.

Synexus continues to experience global success which is driving international expansion. Its order book is at a record high and continue to grow. The increased trial capacity and sites will ensure Synexus is able to meet increasing demands from CROs and pharma.

The  Watermeyer Clinical Research Centre and the Synexus South Africa regional head office are situated in the new state-of-the-art 2011 sq m Synexus building in Val de Grace, Pretoria.
